Reedy Creek Road will be closed to repair the bridge over Tobesofkee Creek beginning Monday, Aug. 28. The estimated reopening date is Mon., Sept. 18. Detour signs will be erected to help direct traffic around this construction area. All traffic south of Tobesofkee Creek needing to go northbound will utilize Maynard’s Mill Road to SR-42. Meanwhile, southbound traffic from north of Tobesofkee Creek must use McCowan Road to Montpelier Road to SR-42 or SR-41 to SR-42. In addition, detour users should please be aware of ongoing construction activities on McCowan Road. Reedy Creek Road residents will still be able to access their homes, but they will not be able to do so by crossing the Tobesofkee Creek bridge. We apologize for any inconvenience in this matter.
